Original petrol pumps are often sought after by collectors, restorers and petroliana enthusiasts because of their history, character and visual appeal. Genuine restoration usually involves repairing or replacing mechanical parts, refinishing surfaces and sourcing period-correct components to preserve the look and feel of the original pump.

As original vintage petrol pumps have become harder to find and more expensive to restore, 1950s-inspired decorative pumps have become a popular alternative. These pumps capture the nostalgic style of classic petrol pumps while being newly made using modern materials, finishes and construction methods.

At Vintage Gas Pumps, our pumps are not restored originals. They are newly built decorative display pieces, hand-built in the UK using our own original pump body design and styling inspired by classic 1950s petrol pumps.

The “Old Petrol Pump” Model

The Old Petrol Pump model is delivered fully assembled for your convenience. This version features pre-aged steel and a deliberately weathered, unfinished appearance, creating a raw rat-rod style with visible rust and character.

The pump incorporates your chosen decorative petrol-pump globe/lens and is finished in your selected style. Many customers choose colours or finishes that complement the selected globe/lens design, but the final choice is entirely yours.

Optional petrol-brand globes/lenses are third-party decorative components and do not indicate any affiliation with or endorsement by the relevant brand owner.

All brand names, logos and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners. Every Gas Pump we offer is hand-crafted with great care, and as such, we require them to be delivered by hand to guarantee they arrive in pristine condition. The delivery cost is determined by the distance involved, typically falling between £50 to £100 for UK mainland shipments. Please email us if you require an estimate for delivery outside of the UK.
